Assembly  

Gather parts - you'll need one broom or mop stick with a pointy end and one section of 2x2. And you'll need a drill and saw.

Find or buy rags, dish towels or bar rags.

Measure the 2x2 to fit your rags, allowing an inch overhang on either side of the 2x2. Cut to fit with your saw.

Drill a hole on the diagonal through the center of your 2x2 stick. A 3/4" drill bit should make a hole that will fit most sticks.

Insert the mop stick into the 2x2, place cloth around 2x2 and dust or mop. Friction should hold the sticks together fine.
